Sandweiler is one of the municipalities bordering the city of Luxembourg, located to the east of the Luxembourg capital. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Luxembourg.

The village of Sandweiler is dominatedby Luxembourg-Findel International Airport. It is one of the leading cargo airports in Europe.
In terms of road access, direct access to the A1 motorway via the Irrgarten roundabout and the presence of the N2 make travel easy.
In addition, it is possible to travel between Sandweiler and Luxembourg by bike thanks to three cycle paths.
The SNCA (Société Nationale de Circulation Automobile) and the SNCT (Société Nationale de Contrôle Technique) are based in Sandweiler. You will need to go there for any administrative procedures relating to your motor vehicle.
