Call-a-bus is an on-demand door-to-door service offered by the City of Luxembourg within its territory. This service operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
Call-a-bus is for residents of Luxembourg City aged 70 and over. These shuttles are available upon prior registration using a form available on the Luxembourg City website.

Other municipalities also offer a free shuttle service on demand for travel within the municipality or in the immediate vicinity. Please check with your local municipal administration.

The main campuses of Luxembourg's secondary schools, Geesseknäppchen, Sainte-Sophie and Sport Lycée, Ecole Européenne I and Limperstberg, are served by dedicated bus lines.

Municipal school transport

Municipalities also provide school buses to and from primary schools within the municipality.
These buses, identified as "Schoulbus," serve a number of stops in the municipality before or after school hours to take children to school.

In some cases, near the schools, the buses are replaced by "Pédibus" (walking buses) led by a municipal employee or an accompanying person. Identified by yellow vests, children and accompanying persons walk to school in complete safety.
