Ecobox – Mei lang geneissen

Logo Ecobox Luxembourg

One of the distinctive features of many restaurants in Luxembourg is that they serve very generous portions. Don't hesitate to ask for a half portion for your children; this is common practice, and some restaurants even offer it as a matter of course.

And if, despite everything , the plates are not finished, ask for an Ecobox to take the leftovers away from the restaurant! Participating restaurants can be recognized by the green Ecobox logo. For a deposit of €5, you can take your meal or leftovers home in a pretty green box. You can finish everything at home or the next day at the office. Once cleaned, you can return the Ecobox to a participating restaurant for your €5 deposit or exchange it for a new, professionally cleaned Ecobox with a new meal.

No more food waste and long live recycling: used Ecoboxes are returned to the manufacturer and used to produce new ones!
