The educational concept developed in our Montessori nurseries is based on the principles discovered and set out by Maria Montessori. Children's independence, their everyday happiness, their personal development and their freedom are all concepts that are important to us.

We believe that every child has within them all the potential necessary for their development and that adults are there to help that potential blossom. It isessential to offer children the opportunity to develop their different sensibilities to the fullest in an environment adapted to their psychological and physical needs, respecting their own pace and individual characteristics while awakening them to social life.

Le Nido welcomes babies from 2 to 24 months old at L'Enfant Roi

It combines modernity and respect for the child in accordance with our educational philosophy. Floor beds and weaning tablespromote autonomy in very young children. We are attentive to the needs and rhythms of the babies entrusted to us . A team of dedicated professionals takescare of them, respecting their habits and needs.

The Children's Community for children aged 2 to 3

The Children's Community allows children aged 2 to 3 to flourish in a suitable environment. The environment, prepared according to Montessori teaching methods, promotes the development and learning of children of this age. The educational team, composed of qualified educators, graduate educators, and nursery school teachers, is dedicated and enthusiastic.

The Children's House welcomes 3- to 4-year-olds at L'Enfant Roi

The Children's House offers an educational program in line with that of the Maria Montessori nursery school in Strassen. It offers children aged 3 to 4 the opportunityto deepen their knowledge and prepare for entry into preschool. Children are introduced to geometry, numeracy, and writing. They are also introduced to art, music, geography, zoology, and botany. Concepts such as respect for the environment, politeness towards adults and other children, respect, and self-esteem are also taught.

The teaching team for this group is made up of educators, preschool teachers, and French, Luxembourgish, and English language teachers, who calmly and serenely prepare children for their entry into their future school.

Healthy and controlled food in our Montessori nurseries

Because eating well is essential for healthy growth, we attach great importance to ensuring that children's diets comply with medical recommendations . All the products on our menus are healthy, fresh, local, and seasonal. All dishes are homemade by our kitchen team and checked by our health department to ensure a balanced and healthy diet.

Your child's health is precious to Enfant Roi

Each of our nurseries has a nurse who provides the necessary care for the children: administering medication , managing allergies, handling emergencies, monitoring weight curves, etc. They are also responsible for implementing individualized care protocols within the nursery and ensuring that these are followed.

The nursing team is led by our Health Service Director, who is a pediatric nurse by profession. She is also available to answer your questions by phone, email, or during parenting appointments, whether they concern nutrition, sleep, health, or any other topic you wish to discuss.

The entire health department meets regularly to discuss medical news and adapt our protocols.

Hygiene, a key issue that is strictly controlled in our Montessori nurseries

Hygiene in nurseries is a key issue. In our facilities , thanks to appropriate measures including, among other things, precise cleaning plans for the premises and maintenance teams trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards, we avoid most problems, particularly those related to contamination.

Air quality is also monitored using analyzers installed in each facility. Thanks to this system, we are able to quickly correct any problems that may arise in the event of indoor air pollution.

Our teaching and technical teams are supervised and made aware of this issue, which must be handled impeccably.In addition, using Montessori teaching methods, and in particular through personal care exercises, we educate children about personal hygiene (washing their hands, teeth, and face, knowing how to blow their nose, not sneezing in another child's face, etc.).

Ongoing training in Montessori teaching methods, the driving force behind our teams

We provide training in Montessori pedagogy for all our employees. The training team is made up of teachers, educators, psychologists, pediatric nurses, and social workers. These complementary skills come together in a dynamic and harmonious group focused on children and their development. The training courses offered are varied and practical: cultural and artistic awareness, psychomotor skills, the Snoezelen approach (inclusivity), multilingualism, and educational posture.

The personalized welcome and support program

Parents play a special role within the nursery. They are invited to meetings with the teaching team, conferences on education and, if they wish, discussions with the nursery nurse.
