Which animals are eligible for insurance?
All dogs and cats are eligible for pet insurance. However, they must comply with Luxembourg legal requirements, and in particular be tattooed, vaccinated and declared to the commune of residence in the case of dogs. New contracts can be taken out from the pet's 3rd month of age, up to 7 years for dogs and 10 years for cats. The contract then covers your pet for the rest of its life.
