A major economic player

The Chamber of Commerce represents and promotes the interests of all Luxembourg companies in the industrial, commercial, and service sectors, banking and finance, insurance, and hospitality.

With more than 100,000 affiliated companies, it represents 75% of the country's salaried employment and contributes to 80% of the national GDP. Through its specialized departments and Houses (Entrepreneurship, Training, Startups, Sustainability), it actively supports the creation, growth, and internationalization of businesses.

The Chamber of Commerce is involved in the legislative process by issuing opinions on laws under development. It carries out economic analyses and structural studies, often in collaboration with national and international institutes. It informs the public and stimulates socio-economic debate.

cc.lu: the information and services portal for businesses

The cc.lu website, the Chamber of Commerce's institutional portal, centralizes all corporate information: economic news, publications, legislative opinions, studies, thematic dossiers, event calendar, services, and resources for Luxembourg businesses.

An expanded range of services

Taking a "group" approach, the Chamber of Commerce has set up structures dedicated to an expanded range of services in order to meet the different needs of businesses.

The House of Training: professional training for all sectors

The House of Training, created in 2015 by the Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Banks and Bankers, Luxembourg (ABBL), trains thousands of people every year in fields as varied as banking and finance, entrepreneurship and management, law, marketing, human resources, etc.(www.houseoftraining.lu)

The House of Entrepreneurship: a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs

The House of Entrepreneurship, launched in 2016 by the Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy, is a one-stop shop offering a wide range of services to future and established entrepreneurs.(www.houseofentrepreneurship.lu)

The House of Startups: innovation and support for young companies

The House of Startups (HoST), launched in 2018 by the Chamber of Commerce, brings together innovation hubs, incubators, business accelerators, and start-up advisory services under one roof.(www.host.lu)

The House of Sustainability: supporting the sustainable transition of businesses

The House of Sustainability is an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts. It aims to raise awareness and mobilize Luxembourg companies around key sustainable development issues. Merkur.lu: the Chamber of Commerce's media brand

For its 50th anniversary, the Chamber of Commerce's Merkur magazine became a multimedia brand with the launch of Merkur.lu in May 2025, offering responsive and accessible economic information online, while maintaining a premium quarterly print edition.

This evolution combines tradition and modernity to better support businesses and economic players in Luxembourg. Merkur.lu covers news about Luxembourg companies and economic developments in the country.
