Escape to France from Luxembourg

Escape to France from Luxembourg

Right next to Luxembourg, Lorraine offers a wide range of family, cultural, and sporting activities for a break from Luxembourg. Two major cities not to be missed are Nancy, with its famous Place Stanislas and unique Art Nouveau heritage, and Metz, with its pedestrian center, impressive cathedral, and the Centre Pompidou-Metz. But there are plenty of other towns and activities to enjoy too.

The region's cuisine is well worth discovering: meat, game and fish, often cooked in casseroles or pâtés. And what about the delicious mirabelle plum tarts, a regional specialty in summer when the mirabelle harvest is in full swing.
