Since its creation in 2015, this "Art Week" has established itself as a major event for art lovers, collectors, and professionals in the sector. Luxembourg Art Week is now a key event in Luxembourg's cultural life. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Luxembourg, Luxembourg Art Week stands out for its ability to bring together renowned artists and emerging talents in a major exhibition.

A vibrant week of art with Luxembourg Art Week

The Luxembourg Agency for Cultural Action, the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg, and ArtContemporain.lu created this event in 2015. Every year, internationally recognized art galleries come to Luxembourg to showcase the most beautiful and unexpected contemporary creations . Exhibitions, artist meet-and-greets, conferences, and round tables on the art market are organized, offering valuable insights to collectors and enthusiasts. Art lovers can also attend conferences and guided tours in the museums of Luxembourg and the Greater Region. In addition, partnerships are organized as part of Luxembourg Art Week with Mudam, Casino Luxembourg, and the Centre Pompidou in Metz.

Luxembourg Art Week 2026: a promising 12th edition

Although no information is yet available about the 2026 edition, we can expect it to be even bigger and better. The management, led by Caroline von Reden, is committed to strengthening cultural and institutional partnerships. Visitors can therefore look forward to even more immersive experiences, new collaborations, and a growing openness to the art scene in the Greater Region.

The 2025 edition with an international flavor

The 11th edition of Luxembourg Art Week was held from November 21 to 23, 2025, in Limpertsberg. To celebrate this anniversary edition, the event showcased exciting new features and immersive artistic experiences in a temporary 5,200 m² structure . During Luxembourg Art Week, nearly 80 galleries and artist collectives from 17 countries and 5 continents gathered in Luxembourg. These figures illustrate the international scope of the event and its ability to attract the best players on the global contemporary scene. 18,000 visitors strolled through the aisles of the temporary structure on the Champs du Glacis. Whether simply curious or seasoned art lovers, visitors were able to discover new artists. At the end of their visit, everyone was able to gain an overview of contemporary creation, both local and international.
