Music Festival: free concerts throughout Luxembourg!

As every year, the big music festival is eagerly awaited to continue the summer music events in Luxembourg in June 2026.

Luxembourg City, the capital of music

After the return of the URBAN PIANO project, which kicks off the musical season by inviting passers-by to play the keyboard in the streets of Luxembourg, the Music Festival takes over! But it's with the launch of the Music Festival that things really get serious! All kinds of concerts take over the capital in mid-June, with something to suit all musical tastes. With several stages, veritable "music spots" within the capital, the city of Luxembourg promotes all types of music from around the world. The 2025 program was as follows: From June 13, various locations in the capital resounded with the sound of different orchestras and musical entertainment:

• the Central Station from 8:30 a.m. to welcome the many travelers with a variety of music
• the Place d'Armes and its bandstand came alive from 11 a.m. with various jazz, Latin, and even brass band ensembles
• Place des Bains from 3:00 p.m. with a focus on folk, rock, and blues
• Montée de Clausen from 3:30 p.m. with a focus on world music and electro
• Rue du Saint Esprit from 4 p.m.
• The Hamilius Center from 4 p.m., with rock and even metal music.
• Rue Sigefroi from 4:30 p.m.
• Place Clairefontaine will resound with electro, rock, and hip hop/rap music starting at 5 p.m.
• Paname, located on Place de Paris, will offer jazz concerts starting at 5:00 p.m.
• Urban City on Rue de la Boucherie will offer folk and world music concerts
• Place de la Constitution will resonate with African-American music and even hip hop/rap
• Place Guillaume II/Knudler will not be left out either.
• ...

And the program continued over the following days in different neighborhoods of the city: downtown, Bonnevoie, Kirchberg , and Eich. Jazz, classical, electro-pop, blues, hip-hop, or experimental—passersby could choose as they strolled from one stage to another to enjoy different styles of music.

Music Day in the regions of the Grand Duchy

But the Fête de la Musique doesn't stop in Luxembourg. The regions of the Grand Duchy are also celebrating with musical concerts. Do you like street music? The Fête de la Musique is a festive and very friendly musical event in which many municipalities in Luxembourg participate by bringing their streets and cultural centers to life. This is particularly the case in Mamer, Kehlen, Dudelange, Schuttrange, Bertrange, Mersch, Niederanven, and many others , which offer a wide variety of concerts featuring classical music, jazz, electro, dance, and more.
