A distanceEuromeet Luxembourg is the Grand Duchy's biggest international swimming competition. This annual event brings together water sports enthusiasts and swimming professionals.
The CMCM Euromeet Luxembourg takes place every year at the end of January at d'Coque, a world-renowned sports complex in the Kircherg district of the Luxembourg capital. Euromeet 2026 will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2026. Every year, over 630 athletes from 90 clubs and 25 countries gather at the Coque Olympic pool to take part in the event. They test their performance in a demanding competitive environment. At the 2025 event, 14-year-old Emma Barthel set a new swimming record in the 200-meter breaststroke. We look forward to following her next competitions! The venue for the event, the Coque Olympic swimming pool, is equipped with modern facilities offering optimal conditions for top-level performances.
This competition is not just a sporting event. It's also a crucial stage in the international calendar of many swimmers. Participants often use Euromeet to prepare for the Olympic Games, World Championships or other major international aquatic events. Races are judged by 65 officials, guaranteeing compliance with international regulations. The scale of Euromeet is made possible by the mobilization of over 140 volunteers and a hundred coaches who accompany the teams. In addition to local spectators, Euromeet attracts swimming fans from all over Europe and beyond.
Tickets for Euromeet Luxembourg are available online from the official Euromeet website. Spectators have the opportunity to see world-class swimmers in action, while enjoying the festive atmosphere that characterizes this event.
The Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Natation et de Sauvetage (FLNS) also coordinates numerous competitions and initiatives in various aquatic disciplines.
