Luxembourg is a city where you will find Vauban fortifications. The Bock and Pétrusse Casemates are 23 km of underground galleries that run through the entire old fortress of Luxembourg.

Thanks to their location and rich historical past, the Casemates are a great way to discover Luxembourg's history from a different angle. Built in 1644, the casemates sheltered the population during the air raids of the First World War.

Through openings in the walls of the galleries carved into the rock, you can see all facets of the architectural heritage. It's an original and unusual view of the city of Luxembourg.

Cultivate your mind at MUDAM, Luxembourg's museum of modern art

If you are an art lover, the Mudam Museum of Modern Art is undoubtedly the ideal cultural place to visit in Luxembourg. Its architecture and location are almost as surprising as the incredible collection of works on display over three floors.

Located on the Kirchberg plateau, in the Dräi Eechelen Park, next to the Fort de Thungen and the Drei Eecheleen Museum, Mudam boasts contemporary architecture. It blends perfectlywith the green surroundings in which it is located. Designed by Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei in 2006, Mudam is considered the capital's must-see museum.

Its highly popular collection is frequently updated. The MUDAM offers the best of contemporary art from here and abroad, across all disciplines.

The museum offers tailor-made tours (for groups, families, schools, or children). It is open Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Don't miss Sunday brunch!

Rediscover your inner child at the Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg

If you have children, the Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg is the perfect place for a family outing.
